With the cancellation and postponement of traditional events, many organizers and riders are looking at options to participate in organized events while respecting the challenges of doing so during the COVID-19 pandemic. At the request of several organizers, USA Cycling has begun to sanction several different types of virtual and challenge events, providing insurance protection for organizers and members looking to participate in these alternative events.
